Health promotion and right protection from alcohol related harm
IOGT-NTO Movement, in partnership with Peoples Family Health Association (PFHA), is carrying out a project focused on health promotion and protecting the rights of individuals from alcohol and drug-related harm in Laos. The main objective of this project is to reduce the negative impact of alcoholic beverages in eight communities in the country. By strengthening these communities and addressing the harmful effects of alcohol, we aim to create a healthier and more prosperous environment for residents.
Our project is not only tailored to meet the specific needs of each community, but also aligns with the province’s community development plan and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this collaborative effort, we are working towards building stronger and more resilient communities, while also contributing to the overall development goals of Laos.
Together with our partners, we believe that by implementing targeted interventions and raising awareness about the dangers of alcohol consumption, we can make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities in Laos. Our ultimate goal is to create a safer and healthier environment for all residents, while supporting the sustainable development of the country as a whole.
