Objective 9 - Sustainable industry, innovations and infrastructure

Inventing new things using new technology is a way of solving the problems that we humans and our planet face. In this way, you can create new, more environmentally friendly, products. Developing new technology creates more jobs, which is needed. Another way to work for a sustainable future is to invest money in good industries and research on environmental issues.

In order for us to continue living on our planet, we are in constant need of new innovations and technological development, in order to be able to solve economic and environmental obstacles. It is also important that industries and companies contribute to sustainable development.

Tip!

Do not throw away, give away!

It is common for us to upgrade our technical gadgets, but often the old ones still work. Dispose of the items you no longer use, or make sure they are reused.

Use your technical knowledge!

Are you interested in technology? Use your knowledge to help others who are not as good at technology. Technology and new ideas are the key to us achieving the Global Goals!

Spread information!

Half a billion people on earth do not have access to basic communication capabilities. Donate your old cell phones and encourage others to do the same.

Tell us about your interpretation

The theme of my picture is "invent the future." It's hard to explain a picture like this, it's a bit like making a joke and then telling what the fun was. But I can tell you that my first priority was to create an image that was simply fun for me to make. So then it got to be a big real Science Fiction gadget. I usually work with comics. I also write children's books.
