Water is vital to everything that lives on earth. Lack of water can lead to quarrels, both within and between countries, but access to water can make countries cooperate better and the opportunity for peace increase. One in three people in the world does not have access to toilets or clean water to wash with.
Did you know that 870 liters of water are needed to make 1 liter of wine? Or 298 liters of water for 1 liter of beer? Alcohol production is a major contributing factor to the ever-increasing water shortage that prevails in the world.
Another global goal that would be easier to achieve if the demand for alcoholic beverages decreased.
Climate change means that we must make conscious choices about how we use the earth's resources. Irrigation stops are already being introduced in several regions in Sweden and in South Africa, the drought was so severe in 2018 that the municipal water was shut off. What do you think the water should mainly be used for?
In Mexico, people have protested against the use of shrinking water resources by a large brewery. Do you think people can influence the industries?
Taking a shower in 5 minutes saves an infinite amount of water compared to a bath. Also try not to shower for too long so as not to waste water.
Do not rinse your plates. If you use a dishwasher, stop rinsing your plates before putting them in the machine.

My name is Lotta Sjöberg, I am a cartoonist and illustrator and I draw / create pictures for magazines, printed matter, the web, publishers, organizations and companies. Every now and then I make my own comic books. Topics that I am particularly passionate about are parenting, mental illness, gender, climate, working life issues and sexual knowledge. I draw both by hand and on a computer, and sometimes with a needle and thread. It depends on what I have to say and who I want to reach. An illustration can be anything from a detail to a whole story, and it can show almost anything, even the impossible. That's what's so great about drawing. Educated on i.a. Clean water is fundamental to all life on earth, without water nothing can live. And think that the water we drink and use today is the same as the dinosaurs once had, and the same as our great-great-grandchildren will use, so we have to take care of it as best we can. I myself consist of 60% water, like all other adults here on earth. I can probably think of several hundred things that you need clean water for, but it does not fit on a single drawing, so I have selected a few things.
