Human health is getting better and better all over the world. This is partly due to the fact that more people have access to good care. How you feel is affected by several things, such as the economy and the society you grow up in. The climate also plays a role. To improve health, you need to make sure you work on all three things.

A life without alcohol and drugs is a good start, but there is of course more to the equation. Eating healthy, moving around, sleeping well and hanging out with friends are also important.

Having access to knowledge about how to stay healthy is important. Did you know that in many countries it is believed that alcohol cleanses the body of viruses and toxins?

That misconception was so widespread that the WHO had to go out and warn people at the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic. Because it is quite the opposite. For those who drink alcohol, the risk of becoming infected increases because the immune system is weakened by alcohol.

Be healthy!

Start with yourself. By exercising and eating healthy, you increase your chances of living longer and avoiding diseases.

Get vaccinated!

Make sure you get and are vaccinated. It's a simple thing you can do to make sure you stay healthier. Being vaccinated is also good for society at large.

Who are you?

Sara Olausson, born in 1972, is a cartoonist, illustrator and author. She graduated from the Stockholm Academy of the Arts in 2007 and has, among other things, published the comic books Allt är farligt! (2001), Help! (the latter together with Nina Hemmingsson, 2004) and Barbro Lindgren's Loranga, Mazarin and Dartanjang in three parts. She was the editor of Women only draw comics about menstruation (2014) and has together with Felicia Iosif made the book It could have been me (2015). In 2019, Sara Olausson was nominated for the August Prize for the Strawberry Children.
