IOGT-NTO Movement is a dynamic and international organization that makes a difference! We work to strengthen individuals and communities by preventing alcohol-related harm. Through our work, we reduce poverty, improve health and combat violence against women and children. We strengthen people’s resistance to alcohol by spreading knowledge, strengthening organizations and mobilizing for health-promoting alcohol legislation. With operations in 12 countries in Asia, East Africa and the Western Balkans, we are a force to be reckoned with both locally and nationally. We are now inviting tenders for a Framework Agreement with a Legal Advisor well experienced in agreements.

Scope of Services:
The selected consultant will provide legal advisory services on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to: 

• Interpreting donor agreements (e.g., from Sida and other back-donors) and adapting them into relevant agreement templates for our organization. 
• Drafting and reviewing agreements for partner organizations in Asia, East Africa, and the Western Balkans.
• Providing legal counsel on contractual matters and other legal aspects

Please note that this framework agreement ensures access to advisory services but does not guarantee a minimum volume of work. 

The first assignment under the framework agreement must be completed with a deadline in April 2025.

Conditions
The agreement will cover the period from 2025-04-01 to 2025-12-31.
The invoice must be supported by the call-off in writing and need to be supported by a time schedule.

Evaluation Criteria 

• Experience
  – Extensive experience working on agreements for aid organisations in Sweden and abroad. 
  – Solid experience of working with Sida-funded projects or directly at Sida.
  
• Academic Background
  A relevant legal degree.
• Language Proficiency
  Fluency in both Swedish and English is required.
