Are you our next intern in international development cooperation?

IOGT-NTO Movement is looking for a committed intern for the fall semester of 2026. We offer an exciting and educational internship where you will work with communications, campaigns and fundraising for an organization that works for a society free from the harms of alcohol.
The internship is divided between communication/fundraising and program work, which provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into both how the organization mobilizes support and how development programs are planned and implemented.

About the role
As an intern, you will work on a variety of tasks, such as:

Communication and fundraising (approx. 50%)

  • Produce content for our communication channels: web, social media and newsletters.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of campaigns and events.
  • Develop materials for fundraising communication and support the development of new fundraising initiatives.
  • Develop ideas and content for fundraising and fundraising communications.
  • Create visual material for digital channels and print.
  • Participate in daily communication work
  • Participate in the production of reports and analyses.
  • Analyze aid policy and development issues linked to alcohol and public health.

Program work (approx. 50%)

  • Contribute to country analyses and global monitoring linked to our program countries.
  • Support the work with risk analyses and risk matrices linked to program activities.
  • Participate in the program group meetings and gain insight into how our projects are planned and followed up.
  • Contribute to simpler analyses of aid policy and development issues linked to alcohol, public health and civil society.
  • Participate in the production of reports, program documents and other supporting documents.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for you as:

  • Are in the final stages of your studies in communications, marketing, global studies, social sciences, political science or similar fields.
  • Have good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
  • Has good analytical skills and can work independently with research and compilation of data.
  • Has knowledge in graphic design and layout.
  • Is independent, creative and proactive.
  • Has an interest in international development cooperation, the role of civil society and human rights.
  • Likes to delve into complex issues and make them understandable and accessible to others.
  • Complete the internship within the framework of your studies

Meritorious skills:

  • Experience of involvement in public health and/or international affairs.

What we offer as an internship:

  • The internship period is approximately 10-20 weeks during the fall semester 2026, starting as agreed.
  • A workplace at our office in Klarakvarteren in central Stockholm with the possibility of some remote work.
  • Committed supervisor and a good working community.
