We at IOGT-NTO Movement have been granted 1,98 million SEK from Radiohjälpen through the collection Världens Barn. The support goes to our project in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, where we, together with our local partner organization ADIC, work to improve the living conditions of children in vulnerable families.
In the village of Colobuthurai in the Jaffna area, we meet children who grow up in poverty, without a safe adult presence and often in environments where abuse occurs. With ADIC, we want to create a place where the children have their basic needs met but also hope for the future. Through the project, the children receive support in their everyday lives, and the efforts aim to improve their living conditions.
We are one of 14 organizations that receive support from Radiohjälpen for projects for children around the world. This year, special focus has been on initiatives that strengthen the protection of children, children with disabilities, education and children's health.

Among the children who will benefit from the support are Sudarshan Ranshikaa, Edman Regan Rishanthini and Ravanan Indhusha.
We are excited to be part of Världens Barn and the important work being done to strengthen children's rights around the world!
