IOGT-NTO Movement works internationally to empower people and communities to prevent harm from alcohol. Through our work, we reduce poverty, ill health and violence against women and children. We work at local and national levels in 12 countries in Asia, East Africa and the Western Balkans to increase knowledge, strengthen organizations and mobilize for health-promoting alcohol legislation. We are now looking for a Program Manager who wants to be an important part of our team.

About the role

As a Program Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluating activities together with our partner organizations. You will also ensure that programs and partners meet donor requirements, as well as contribute to capacity development, quality assurance and learning within the organization.

Your main tasks are to:

· Act as a point of contact for some partners, including ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

· Review and develop reports and budget documents from partners.

· Participate in ensuring quality in reporting to donors.

· Possibly carry out monitoring visits

· Support and coach partners in capacity development, strategic planning and project implementation.

· Contribute to method development, learning and other tasks within the program group.

Travel abroad may occur during employment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who thrives in an international environment, likes to work both independently and together with others, and who has an analytical and solution-oriented approach.

You have:

· Relevant academic education, e.g. in public health, political science, development studies or equivalent.

· At least five years of experience in project or program management within international development cooperation.

· Experience working with civil society organizations and managing donor funds (e.g. Sida).

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

· Experience in following up on budgets, audits and financial reporting.

Merit:

· Experience from the regions we work in; East Africa, Southeast Asia and/or the Western Balkans.

· Work or living abroad.

· Knowledge in public health, gender equality, peace/conflict or rights-based work (HRBA).

The position is a temporary temporary position of 50-100%. The temporary position is intended to cover an ongoing period of absence and is valid until April 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension if the absence persists. You have irregular working hours and are located in our office in central Stockholm with the possibility of working from home. We offer both wellness time, wellness allowance and an inclusive and committed work community. We are covered by collective agreements between the Employers' Alliance - Unionen, the Swedish Association of Academics and Leaders.
