As the year draws to a close, we want to pause and say thank you. In a time of uncertainty and major global challenges, commitment, solidarity and collaboration have been crucial.
During the year, we have initiated a new exciting collaboration with Sida and started a new project together with Radiohjälpen in Sri Lanka, where we stand up for the world's children in both acute crises and long-term work. Through the Children of the World campaign, we have mobilized and inspired commitment that makes a concrete difference for children and families in vulnerable situations in, among others, Uganda.
We have continued to highlight alcohol as a barrier to development and have made clear the connection between reduced alcohol consumption and improved public health in Tanzania and Kenya. At the same time, we have strengthened our work for democracy and human rights in Serbia and through efforts to increase democratic participation in Tanzania. Work for women's and children's rights has also been in focus, for example in Cambodia and Laos.
All of this is part of our joint work for a democratic, sustainable and solidarity-based world. Where every person has the right to security, health and faith in the future. Thank you to all of you who have stood with us during the past year. Together we will continue to make a difference, also in the new year.
